417th issue: No more Valtteri flea market

I didn't know about Valtteri flea market has closed!

Valtteri (later mentioned s Valtsu) was a famous flea market in Vallila. Especially during the sundays this flea market was packed. I've been going to Valtsu as a customer and as a seller for many years. It was a nice way to start Sunday, which usually is the most boring day in Helsinki.

From Valtsu you could find good things for cheap; from clothes to home ware and electronics. And what was the best: the location. I used to live very near by, so it was easy to carry stuff to and from Valtsu.

Also, as Helsinki is pretty homogenic what comes to clothing stores, from Valtsu you could find unique items, which nobody else in Finland had.

Plus, Valtsu is organized indoors.

They decided to close Valtsu, as their rent contract ended. VR, the owner of magazines, rented the place for a company.

Nice. Take everything away from us - normal citizens. Smells like the Krishna case...

HFUT is rising again!
