79th issue: "The Finns believe that their nuclear power plans are secure"

The Helsinki Daily, Helsingin Sanomat, wrote today that we - Finnish people - believe our nuclear power stations are safe. Later they mention that 4/5 Finn believe that they are safe. I might be that 1/5 then. I don't believe any nuclear power plant is safe. And I don't believe most Finnish believing so - I think the ones who believe like this are the ones who want more nuke energy.

Why I don't believe they are safe? Because we cant ever say anything is safe. Human is a small creature. Even the technology would be as hi-tech ever, remember that technology gets old quite fast: what believe is hot now, is not anymore tomorrow. All this technology is just cheating our minds. It's a business. Some people get rich when we believe that their creations are safe. Nuke energy is a good business, and by brainwashing us people some people are making shit loads of money.

And all that nuke waste they are hiding in the ground... Seriously? Some people say that it is safe to hide it under the ground, but who can ever know what is SAFE. Safe, safe, safe, safe. Hiroshima. Nagasaki. Safe. Tchernobyl. Safe. Fukushima. Safe.

How you can say anything is safe?

I think nuke energy is not the solution to stay as wellfare state. I think inventing something totally different, would be the key to stay as a wellfare state.

    * = Mari Kiviniemi is Finlands our Prime Minister
Matti Vanhanen is our ex Prime Minister

Kiviniemi and Vanhanen both are from the Central Party

Maybe these people are that 4/5, and that 1/5 are the "other" people living in Finland, meaning it's citizens.

Otherwise most of these politicians are from the National Coalition Party (49 voters - totally they have 50 seats in the parliament) , The Central Party (40 voters - totally they have 51 seats in the parliament), The Social Democrats (29 voters - 45 seats in the parliament), two votes from the Left Party, six from Swedish People's Party in Finland and four from the Christian "Democrats".

How can my favorite news paper write like this. I'm disappointed.

Thank you Greenpeace for collecting all the names together. More info HERE.
